Gather requirements. Analyze, design, develop, test and document data models and ETL programs from detailed and high-level specifications. Build databases and data-warehouses. Manage ETL development and maintenance to source DWs. Design data warehouse solutions using slowly changing dimensions. Design and implement technical enhancements of Data Warehouse as required. Performance tune Business Intelligence applications, data model and schema optimization. Manage data warehouse architecture with a data vault, dimensional data and fact model. Work on Cloud based technologies and adopt these new technologies in the business world. Unit Test to ensure data integrity. Skills required: SQL, Korn Shell, Informatica Power Center, RDBMS, Oracle Data Integrator, Cognos, Erwin, SAP Power Designer, SSIS and UNIX. Master’s degree in Science, Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or any related field with 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation is required. Bachelor’s degree in the above mentioned fields along with 5 years of experience in job offered or related occupation is acceptable in lieu of Master’s degree plus 1 year of experience.
